Vacuum Won't Start
1. Check the Hoover WindTunnel handgrip to be certain that you have pushed the suction control slide forward to the on position. Move the slide switch to the on position if it is still in the off position.
2. Look to see that the electrical cord is firmly connected. Grasp the plug with your hand, and check the connection for tightness.
3. Inspect the circuit breaker to ascertain if it has been tripped. Go to the electrical box, and open it. A tripped circuit breaker will have moved to the right of the other circuit breakers. You will see it out of line. Move it back to the left.
4. Restart the Hoover WindTunnel by moving the suction slide switch forward to the on position.

5. Turn off the cleaner. Disconnect plug from outlet.
6. Press the button above the dirt cup, and slide the cup out.
7. Empty the dirt from the cup into a garbage bag.
8. Remove the filter located under the dirt cup lid by turning it counterclockwise. Clean the filter using cold, running water and the small brush located under the tool lid.
9. Allow the filter to dry thoroughly, and then replace. Line up the tabs on the filter with the grooves on the dirt cup lid, and twist into place.
10. Slide the cup back into place in the Hoover WindTunnel cleaner, and connect the plug into the outlet. Restart the cleaner by pushing the slide switch forward.
