Unlike a large, fast-paced corporate office, a small home office may lack business equipment such as a copy machine. Company employees, small business owners and telecommuters may find that using a 4 in 1 printer serves as an asset to their daily project load in a home office. A 4 in 1 printer consists of a printer, scanner/copier, fax and telephone unit. These 4 in 1 units are functional and easy to use.
Instructions
1. One of the most common functions is printing documents, memos and email correspondence. Open the paper loading section and fill it with copy paper. Once the paper is loaded correctly, choose the document you wish to print. Select the amount of copies and print the document.
2. To fax a document, letter or invoice to a client, customer or vendor, press the button marked fax on the 4 in 1 printer. Load the paperwork into the paper slot marked for faxes, copies and scans. Once you have done this, dial the recipient's fax number and press the send button. Transmission will begin immediately.
3. Scanners can be used to scan a document or image for printing purposes, as well as scan a hard copy document to send via email. Place the document in the paper slot and select the scan button. If you are printing a color copy of a document, choose the button marked color copy as opposed to black and white.
4. Although you may own a main business phone to conduct interviews and conference calls, a 4 in 1 printer is usually equipped with a telephone receiver and keypad, which can be used if need be. Press the button marked telephone before answering the phone. This ensures that the phone call will not be intercepted by the fax machine.
