Sell Worldwide On Ebay

One of the greatest advantages of the Internet is it has allowed small business to sell to customers on a global level. Opening your eBay auctions up to international bidders can increase your business significantly. If you are not already doing so, you might want to consider selling internationally on eBay.

Instructions

1. Get verified. To sell internationally on eBay a seller must be verified. For most countries being PayPal verified will meet the requirement. To get PayPal verified you need to confirm your bank account with PayPal. The exceptions to this are Switzerland, Germany and Australia. If you live in either of those countries, review the eBay help section for verification requirements.

2. Find an online translating service and save the link in your favorites. There are several of them available to use free of charge. You will need to use the translation service when a customer emails you in a language other than your own.

3. Ask your bank about fees for processing international payments. You might find that the fees are cost prohibitive, in which case you will want to limit your international customers to paying you through PayPal only.

4. Select the option that reads "will ship worldwide" when listing your eBay auctions. Or if you prefer to do business with only certain countries, you can select which countries you will sell to.

5. Set up the International Shipping Calculator on your auction page. After choosing "will ship worldwide" the International Calculator will appear with the US Shipping Calculator. Choose the shipping methods you are offering for International customers.
