Import Skins Houses & Clothes In "The Sim cards"

"The Sims" was released in 2000 by Maxis. It is the bestselling PC game of all time and has won several awards. "The Sims" is a strategic-life simulation game that allows players to control multiple characters in different neighborhoods. The game is highly customizable and easily modified. Players can download and import items made by other users. Downloading custom items adds variety and a high level of personalization to "The Sims."


Instructions


1. Find a website that offers downloads for "The Sims" (see Resources). Click the "download" link of the item you wish to import to your game.


2. Choose "Save this file to disk" on the download screen.


3. Save your download file to the correct folder. For objects, go to "C:/Maxis/The Sims/Downloads" and save your file.


4. To download skins, go to "C:/Maxis/The Sims/GameData/Skins" and save your file.


5. For walls and floors, save your file in "GameData" and "Walls" or "Floors", as appropriate.


6. For houses, save your file to "C:/Maxis/The Sims/Userdata/Houses."


7. Load the game. The downloaded items will now show up in the appropriate folders.
