Instructions
1. Set up an eBay account (see Resources). It will give you an all-in-one place to advertise and sell your herbs.
2. Create a website. List all of the herbs you have for sale along with their prices.
3. Use a Web Store service to start your herb-selling business. They allow you to choose the look of your web page, easily set it up by yourself, have it running within days and cost a fraction of the price of owning your own web page.
4. List your shipping and handling charges, methods of payment and delivery options on your website (see Resources).
5. Promote your website by using search engine submissions, adding your site to other websites' directories and using banners and link ads.
6. Pick a convenient payment method. PayPal, Google Checkout and Barclays Merchant Services are three easy-to-use Internet payment systems you can sign up for.
7. Decide how you will ship your herbs to your buyers. UPS, FedEx and DHL offer many incentives to account holders for door-to-door shipping.
