Sometimes nosy neighbors can go beyond just being a nuisance and become downright intrusive. Before things get too out of hand, try a few things to get rid of the problem.
Instructions
1. Go about your business. Do not fight fire with fire and become nosy yourself. Be stronger than they are. Sometimes simply ignoring a nosy neighbor may lead them to stop their behavior.
2. Build a fence or plant hedges for privacy. Check local ordinances for fences, some rules may apply. Obstructing a nosy neighbor's view may be the best option.
3. Choose a spot in your yard to conduct your business where the nosy neighbor can't see you. Set up a grill or playground out of view of that neighbor's house.
4. Make noise in your yard or flash lights. You might irritate a nosy neighbor enough where he or she will go away.
5. Confront them. Be over-friendly. Ask to borrow garden tools or recipe ingredients. Chances are they may start eluding you and stop their nosy behavior.
