Make Use Of The Casio Fx9750g

The Casio Fx-9750G is a scientific graphing calculator than can be used to create graphs and tables. Unlike other Casio calculators in the Fx 9750 series, the screen of the Fx-9750G is black and white but it still has many of the same features as the others.


Instructions


1. Remove the back cover by sliding the cover in the direction indicated by the arrow. Insert the four AAA batteries that come with the calculator, making sure that the "+" and "-" ends of the batteries are facing the correct direction. Pull the insulation cover on the left of the batteries over the batteries and replace the cover. This will automatically turn the calculator on so press the "Menu" button to reset the calculator menu.


2. Turn the calculator on by pressing the "AC/ON" button. To turn it off hold down the "SHIFT" button and press "AC/ON."


3. Input basic calculations the way they are written on paper -- there are buttons for parenthesis. The calculator will automatically apply algebraic logic to calculations.


4. Press the "" directional buttons to replay and/or amend previous calculations.


5. Write fractions using the fraction button ("a b/c"). For example to write "3/4," key in "3," "a b/c" and "4." To write a longer fraction such as "3 ½," key in "3," "a b/c," "1," "a b/c" and "2."


6. Create a graph using the "Graph" menu. Press the "Menu" button, and press the "" directional buttons to get to "Graph" and then press the "EXE" button. To graph "Y -- X(X+2)(X-3)," key in "χθΤ," "(," "χθΤ," "+," "2," ")," "(," "χθΤ," "-," "3," ")" and "EXE." Press "F6 - Draw" and "EXE."


7. Create a table using the "Table" menu. Press the "Menu" button and press the "" directional buttons to get to "Table" and then press the "EXE" button. To create a table with the properties "Y=X(X+2)(X-2)," key in "χθΤ," "(," "χθΤ," "+," "2," ")," "(," "χθΤ," "-," "2," ")" and "EXE." Press "F6 Table" or "EXE" to draw the table.
