Write An Individual Code Of Ethics For Any Teacher

Writing ethics for your teacher can help the teacher get to know you better.


Writing, and then following, a set personal ethic codes for your life can make the difference between having and maintaining a morally stable life and getting in trouble. According to the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), a website geared towards creating assignments for teachers, ethics are a set of moral principals and values that govern an individual or a group. Personal, social and professional behaviors are judged by such ethical standards. Knowing write and mimic the standard code of ethics can help you become a better overall student and human being.


Instructions


1. Define and write down your own meaning of ethics. Your teacher will provide a list of ethical events and situations that will help you figure out your own definition of ethics.


2. Write down at least three rules of personal ethics that you adhere to. For example, state that you will never steal or that you will never harm or injure another individual.


3. Write down rules of ethics that can make your school a better place. This should be in conjunction with other students. Think of these as rules that your teacher will later enforce in class. Some examples might be to never attack or throw objects at other students or not copying or plagiarizing other student's assignments and exams.
