Begin A Bed mattress Cleaning Business

Matresses can be home to dead skin and dust mites.

Just about everyone owns a mattress. And just about everyone sleeps on that mattress every night. So, it stands to reason that most mattresses out there are home to dead skin and oils, pet dander and dust mites. Starting a mattress cleaning business may seem unorthodox, but it can be a good money making idea once you show people how dirty that mattress they sleep on every night really is.

Instructions

1. Create a business plan to give yourself an overview of the business and where you would like it to go in the future. Educate yourself on all of the elements of cleaning mattresses well.

2. Purchase mattress cleaning equipment such as a power vacuum and cleaning supplies. You can also buy an air purification unit to trap dust mites escaping in the air, but this can wait until you are more established if finances are an issue.

3. Market your new business. Create business cards and flyers and have them printed. Distribute them in neighbourhoods you feel are home to people that would be interested in your service. Also visit motels, bed and breakfasts, and family and friends.
