Halloween is a time for pumpkins, candy and costumes. Halloween gives you a reason to dress up in costume and look and act like someone else. If you are looking for a classic look that will catch your friends’ attention, dress up as a businesswoman for Halloween. Businesswomen are beautiful, elegant and sharp looking. In a few simple steps, you’ll have all eyes on you and your costume.
Instructions
1. Wear a pants suit. Choose a solid color, such as black or navy blue. Avoid wearing suits that are brightly colored, such as pink or yellow. The suit should consist of pants and a jacket or blazer. You can wear the jacket opened or have one or two buttons in the middle closed.
2. Wear a button down blouse. Make sure the blouse is ironed and stain free. If you are wearing a white blouse, wear a white bra underneath. Do not wear a black bra under a white blouse. Choose a blouse that works well with the color scheme of the suit.
3. Wear stockings. If you are wearing a dark suit, wear dark or natural colored stockings. Wear stockings that do not have holes or tears in the material.
4. Wear dress shoes. Do not wear open toed shoes with stockings. Choose dress shoes that have high heels, or wear pumps. Wear black shoes with a black suit and blue shoes with a blue suit.
5. Wear a pearl or gold necklace that will complement the outfit. You may also wear a ring, bracelet and earrings. Wear a feminine looking watch--nothing bulky or made with Velcro.
6. Wear makeup. Apply foundation, concealer, powder and blush. Shape and enhance eyebrows with powder if necessary. Use eye shadow, eye liner and mascara on your eyes. Finish the look with lipstick and some gloss. Don’t forget to smile.
7. Wear some perfume. Dab some perfume on your neck and wrists. Do not put too much perfume on. You’ll know you have too much on if you have to gasp for air when you breathe in and out.
8. Carry accessories with you. Carry a pocket calculator, laptop bag, water bottle, pencil and clipboard. You can wear glasses on your face or on your head to enhance your costume.
