Update Business Entries On Yellow Book

Updating a business listing in Yellowbook is a quick and easy process.

Founded in 1930, Yellowbook was originally designed as an inexpensive alternative marketing tool for small to medium sized businesses. Today Yellowbook's services include direct marketing, social media and search engine optimization in addition to traditional print and internet resources. Yellowbook is widely recognized as the largest independent publisher of yellow pages nationwide, and its user-friendly interface makes it easy to keep listings up to date.

Instructions

1. Go to the Yellowbook website and navigate to the directory listing you would like to update. There are two search fields at the top of the page for business category and location. Once you have identified the correct listing, click on the business name.

2. Below the contact information is a link to "Report incorrect info." Click that link.

3. A new window will open that will allow you to edit the business name, physical address, phone, fax, website and email address. There is also a section for additional comments. This is for pertinent information as to why the listing has been updated, such as the business has moved or is under new ownership.

4. Once you have updated the listing you will need to provide your name, phone number and email address, as well as a CAPTCHA puzzle for verification purposes.

5. Click on "Submit" at the bottom of the page. Your changes will be reviewed and published.
