Website fonts are set by the webmaster.
Webmasters publish websites with a specific font size. Depending on the design of the Web pages, the font size can be too small for some readers. Web browsers such as Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox offer the ability to increase or decrease font size using Web browser settings. This changes the font size regardless of the webmaster's settings for the site. The method used to change the font size on a Web page is the same for both Internet Explorer and Firefox.
Instructions
1. Open your Internet Explorer or Firefox Web browser. Click the "Home" button to navigate to a Web page that will display the changes and let you choose the best font size.
2. Hold down the "Ctrl" key. With the Ctrl key held, press the "+" key to zoom in on the Web page (make the font larger). Press the "-" key to make the font smaller.
3. Continue holding the "Ctrl" button and use the mouse wheel to zoom in or out of the Web page to change the font size. This is an alternative way to make browser font changes, but it requires a wheel on your mouse.
4. Click "File" and then "Print" in your Web browser. The larger font is used by the printer in the hard copy of the Web page.
