Don't have a boring business card; jazz it up with some creativity.
Your business cards can say a lot about you. If you're looking for a savvy way to advertise your business, or even yourself, look into different ways to design your business cards. One of the most important things to keep in mind is to get as creative as possible.
Bobby Pin Card
The business card will be printed vertically. In the middle of the business card is a simple picture of a person. Above the head of the person is a thin cutout where the bobby pins are placed. The important information, such as your name, the business' name, address and telephone numbers, will appear within the body of the person. Slide the bobby pins through the cutout above the head on the business card. Seven pins should be on the right side of the head, and seven should be on the left side. The bobby pins above the head will look like hair. You can purchase different colored pins to make the "person" a brunette, redhead or blond.
Hair Tie Business Card
Create a regular business card any way you like, either horizontal or vertical. Punch a hole in the card, at the top if the card is horizontal, or on the left side if it's vertical. Pinch the two sides of a hair tie together, so that the hair tie looks like the number eight. Thread the top loop of the hair tie through the hole of the business card and pull the tie halfway through the card. Thread the bottom loop of the hair tie through the middle of the top loop. Pull the bottom loop to tighten. Hand out your business cards and your potential clients will receive a free hair tie.
Comb Business Card
Design your business cards so they are in the shape of a comb. Along the flat hand of the comb you can list your contact information. You can even make another comb business card solely for appointments and hand out the two cards out together.
