Produce A Start Up Business Title

Make your business sell itself.

A new business name is the beginning of a great brand. Creating a new business name takes careful thought as it should be memorable--a name people want to associate with. Great business names crate certain impressions, therefore, it is worthwhile keeping in mind that business names have a personality in themselves.

Instructions

Make Your Business Count

1. Brainstorm as many business names as possible. The best way is to determine the industry in which the business will operate. It makes it easier then to come up with names that, when heard, may infer the business to a certain product or service. The business name should be as creative as possible, yet professional and one that clients can easily remember.

2. Ask for opinions from friends and/or family regarding your business names. People you know will quickly let you know how your business name sounds and whether it portrays the image you are trying to achieve. Ask for feedback and the name each one of them prefers. This will give you a rough idea on the best name with which to proceed.

3. Research and find out if the names you have narrowed down already exist. You can search online and in the local county clerk's office to see if similar names exist. You will want your name to be as unique as possible to avoid confusing potential clients.

4. Identify how you desire to be remembered. Tag lines are extremely useful for setting apart a company from that of another one. Customers easily remember catchy and relevant tag lines and both the business name. A tag line should be registered to avoid the possibility of others using it.
