With the Internet, it's unnecessary to have a copy of the Yellow Pages to make phone calls
The Yellow Pages was once an essential resource. Using it, people could find the phone numbers of friends, businesses, and services. With the advent of the Internet, however, the Yellow Pages has become largely obsolete. Internet users can perform a quick search online to find all the phone numbers and addresses they need. This leaves the Yellow Pages rotting at their doorstep, an unnecessary waste of natural resources. For those who want to be rid of it for good, it's possible to have your name removed from the distribution list. There are two sites you can visit to do this.
