11. Wait while the Better Business Bureau contacts the business on your behalf and attempts to resolve the problem. Often, problems are resolved during this stage of the resolution process. If no resolution is achieved, the Better Business Bureau may attempt to mediate between the consumer and the business. Both sides must agree to mediation, and then a session will be scheduled. With the help of a mediator, a solution will be sought, and then the mediator will help to implement the solution. If mediation fails, arbitration is the next step. An arbitration meeting will be scheduled, and all facts will be presented to an arbitrator who will then make a ruling based on these facts. A consumer is free to continue a dispute in a court of law (if he/she does agree with the arbitration ruling), but a business is bound to an arbitration ruling.
12. Contact an attorney if the dispute resolution steps do not resolve your warranty issue.
