Land House And Business Painting Jobs

Painting indoor and outdoor will help you expand your clientele.

Painting homes and business can be a lucrative job. Finding paint jobs after getting properly licensed and insured can be difficult for many new painters. Getting the first clients can be done for little money and you can use your first few clients to expand your painting business with little extra cost. Learning to properly advertise your business will get you clients and expand your brand name. After working for a few years, you will see how little advertisement is needed to keep work coming as old clients will recommend you to new clients.

Instructions

1. Tell your friends and family members of your desire to get painting jobs. You are more likely to get a client through word of mouth than by advertising. Post on your Facebook and other online profiles that you're looking for painting jobs.

2. Advertise your business on Craigslist in your local city. To add more credibility to your advertisement, include you local business license or insurance number.

3. Contact your local newspaper and trade magazines and place yourself in the local classifieds. In most papers you might be able to get three-line advertisements in the classifieds for $3 to $5 weekly.

4. Answer your phone promptly when potential clients call. Make sure you have a separate line from your personal number so you can always have a business greeting when calling. Write down the potential clients information and try to follow up with a quote within 48 hours or they might go with another painter. After you get your first clients, give them a few extra business cards and ask them to give it to anyone they know who's interested in having a building or home painted.
