Fun Jobs For Teens

With so little work experience, teenagers oftentimes have to settle for the least appealing jobs. Hope springs eternal however as some jobs can actually be fun for teens.

Independent Music Store

What teen wouldn't love getting paid to offer their advice and opinions on music? These stores tend to offer a relaxed, music-filled setting and occasionally advance copies of anticipated CDs.

Movie Theater

This relatively stress-free job remains popular with teens for a reason. Most movie theaters allow workers free entrance during their days off, as well as access to the concessions stand.

Concert Venue

Working at a concert venue, whether it's a sprawling arena or an intimate theater, teens may get the chance to rub elbows with some of their favorite musicians. Seeing concerts for free isn't exactly a set-back either.

Amusement Park

Isn't it every teenager's dream to spend their days surrounded by roller coasters, dare devil rides and carnival food? Some theme parks allow workers to sign in guests for free, as well as discounts at souvenir gift shops.

Summer Camp

Serving as a camp counselor may not pay great money but it lets teens swim, camp out and meet new people, all while getting paid. Late night campfires and early morning hikes also factor into the fun.

Messenger

Serving as a messenger for a corporation allow teens the opportunity to develop some responsibility. It also allows for some fun as most messengers get to spend the day driving around in their car, listening to the radio or their favorite CD.
