LG offers a wide range of electronics. The LG LCD High Definition television uses liquid-crystal display technologies to create beautiful images in high definition. LG LCD televisions are thinner and lighter than traditional tube televisions. The LG LCD HDTV is manufactured and sold using factory default settings. The default settings are preprogrammed settings such as contrast, color, balance, volume and more. You can restore your LG LCD HDTV's original factory settings by accessing the television's menu options.
Instructions
1. Turn the LG LCD television on by pressing the "Power" button on the television or on the remote control.
2. Press the "Menu" button on the remote control. If you do not have a remote control, the "Menu" button is also found on the side of the television. You will now see a list of controls you can customize.
3. Press the down arrow until "Options" is highlighted. Hit the "Enter" button on the remote control. Both the arrow and "Enter" button are also found on the side panel of the television. You will now see a list of specific options.
4. Press the up and down arrows and highlight "Initial Setting." Hit "Enter." You will now be asked if you are sure you want to restore the television's settings to the factory default settings. Use the left and right arrow keys to select "Yes" and hit "Enter." The factory settings will now be restored.
