Find new ways of getting people to sign up with GDI.
GDI, or Global Domains International, is an online business that you can be a part of. You make money as you get other people to sign up for the business. Each time you get a sign up, you get a percentage of the money they make, so theoretically, you can continue to make money long after you've stopped being active in GDI. The trick to making money in GDI is to continue to get sign-ups, so it is important to know exactly go about getting people to sign up for GDI under you.
Instructions
1. Create a process that allows you to check back with leads who have already said they aren't interested in a timely manner. Many leads come from people who have previously decided not to do it, but have changed their minds. When you check back with old leads, be sure to word your proposition differently and to have a whole new set of data to interest them.
2. Find leads within your friends and family. These are the people who are going to be more likely to follow through, as they are probably in the same position you are. Remember that it starts out being about finding and generating leads, but turns out being about success depending on how well those leads do, so any that you can hand pick will benefit you.
3. Create your own materials based on the ones given to you when you sign up. Leads are generally wary of something that looks like it has been used over and over again for different people. However, if you use material that has your name on it and looks like you have just created it, you will find more success. Put in the time to create new material that is localized to you and your particular business, and leads will react more favorably.
4. Use business cards in public to find leads. You can leave them at various locations, as long as they have your name and website on them. Leaving business cards at restaurants and bars opens your business up to a whole new number of people who might be interested.
