Waste oil from your car can be recycled and reused.
Motor vehicle oils are widely considered waste once it's dirty and is changed out from the vehicle, but it can be refined and reused through the oil recycling process. This helps protect the environment because it keeps the oil out of natural bodies of water, groundwater or soil. There are certain steps to take to recycle waste oil.
